A bit about me

In 2020 the pandemic hit and my life was turned inside out. I worked at a hospital as a "Unit Host" which was the professional way of saying "helper lady." It was a hodgepodge job of patient care, helping families out, data entry, etc... The pandemic had me doing patient care 12-hour shifts. I didn't see my daughter for 3 months, and the physical labor put me on medical leave for several months.

I turned 50 and realized I'm a writer by trade. A published San Francisco poet(1996-2000). I've had musicians play behind me while I speak. Besides my 15 years at the hospital, my work experiences are varied.
